Nadia Ansari

Nadia is an experienced researcher with deep knowledge of Indigenous, Black, and Racialized communities across Canada.  Her expertise includes strategic research and evaluation projects in healthcare, mental health and addictions, and immigrant sectors.  She has over 10 years of expertise designing and supporting behavioural research projects involving multi-level stakeholder engagement, policy analysis and recommendations. Specific areas of interest include strategy development in healthcare research and newcomer/immigrant studies to address behaviour needs and outcomes of vulnerable populations. Her recent engagements include antiracism work for the University of Calgary; equitable workforce transformation for the British Columbia Public Service Agency (BCPSA), City of Calgary on equity audits, Health Quality Alberta (HQA) on equitable healthcare for diverse populations, and other non-profit organizations and associations in Calgary. Outside her work at Habitus, she provides impact evaluation consultancy in designing complex evaluation projects for international development clients, such as the International Labour Organization (ILO), Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) and UN Women.
