Lifting Indigenous Voices and Experiences in Psychedelic Therapies and Healing

Indigenous-led dialogue on psychedelic therapies and healing.

LIVE-PATH (Lifting Indigenous Voices and Experiences in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy and Healing) is a Canada-based, Indigenous-led network bringing together communities, knowledge holders, clinicians, and researchers to explore psychedelic healing and related knowledge.

Interest in psychedelic-based therapies is growing rapidly across research, clinical care, and public discussion. This conversation has largely failed to engage Indigenous Peoples, who hold longstanding knowledge of psychedelic use in healing, medicines, ceremony, and land-based relationships. LIVE-PATH supports relationship-building, knowledge exchange, and community-informed conversations about psychedelic therapies and healing practices.

LIVE-PATH seeks to bring people together to share knowledge, ask questions, and build relationships around psychedelic therapies and healing. This includes community dialogues, webinars, collaborative learning, and the development of accessible resources that can support more informed conversations.

The network prioritizes combining diverse forms of expertise - including lived experience, community knowledge, clinical insight, and research. By creating a trustworthy and diverse knowledge platform, LIVE-PATH supports Indigenous communities in informed decision-making surrounding psychedelic-assisted therapies and healing.
