S. Gibson Cook

Dr. S. Gibson Cook is a pre-clinical researcher working in the labs of Drs. Leah Mayo and Matt Hill at the University of Calgary. Her translational projects focus on understanding how psychedelics interact with the brain's stress system. She also has a keen interest in exploring mechanisms underlying "set and setting" using rodent models. Additionally, she is part of a clinical trial using psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy to treat alcohol-use disorder.
