Dr. Anika Sehgal
Dr. Anika Sehgal is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine. Her research intersects Indigenous health, complexity, health equity, and systems transformation, with a focus on addressing the structural determinants that shape health outcomes and advancing more equitable, inclusive approaches to care.
Dr. Sehgal joined the LIVE-PATH network through her work exploring social and cultural mechanisms in Indigenous health, and her interest in supporting Indigenous-led approaches to emerging areas of health and wellness. The network is a meaningful space that brings together diverse ways of knowing to shape the future of psychedelics in care.
