Amrita Roy
Amrita Roy, PhD, MD, CCFP, is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences at Queen’s University (Kingston, Ontario) and a practicing family physician at Queen’s Family Health Team. She is a graduate of University of Calgary’s MD-PhD program. A settler ally with a research focus in Indigenous health dating back to her doctoral studies in Calgary, Dr. Roy works in close collaboration with Indigenous peoples in community-engaged research, including as Principal Investigator of the Katarokwi Indigenous Research Collaborative in southeastern Ontario and co-Principal Investigator of the Indigenous Primary Health Care and Policy Research Network in Alberta.
